May we never forget this day. Because as soon as we forget that day, we are bound to repeat it! :(
This is a very serious post and a horrifically sad one. But it really has been bothering me the last few days. When I read this news story I immediately thought of the song in this video. James Blunt wrote No Bravery while he was stationed in Kosovo.
I must warn you. The video is extremely graphic. It will anger you. It will break your heart. You will cry, not a small tear down your cheek but the kind of cry that makes your heart feel like it will burst. But I think all too often we turn a blind eye. Not because we don’t care, but because we feel so helpless.
All I can do is sit here and cry and ask why?

CHRISTIANITY AS I KNOW IT
I’m so tired of those claiming to be Christians acting as the biggest hypocrites of all. They give us all a bad name. I’m sure I’m naive in reading the Bible and understanding it the way I want to. But, I suppose we all do that and are wrong in doing so. I see the latest saga in the debate over same sex marriage as a good thing. I feel that true love is such an impossible thing to attain that no matter what form it comes in it should be welcomed and recognized whole heartedly. I don’t care if you love a man, a woman, or a furry woodland creature, it’s a beautiful thing. Far be it from me to judge anyone. I’ll be the last person to be throwing stones at anyone. The Bible clearly says to love one another, not call them queers or freaks or anything else. There, I’m done. Climbing down from my soap box. Thank you. :)
That’s because this photo was taken after he walked out of frame. Here is the photo taken mere seconds before…
But I don’t see @JohnCMayer in his green one…
They came from the water to save us all.
Here’s another one. I get into word discrepancies about twice a week. Are taste and flavor the same thing? Think about it and then read below.
“Taste is physical. Taste is one of our 5 senses. It is a sensory function, in which receptors, or taste buds, found mostly on our tongue receive…
And this is why our friend John should spend his free time writing music and not overanalyzing the meaning and usage of words! :)
I believe that the BP oil spill could have even bigger ramifications on our country than we already realize.
If this disaster exits the public consciousess without there being a 1:1 ratio of fault to accountability, then we as a nation will have demonstrated to our government (and the…
This is sad and true! Nothing anymore has any true effect or consequence to anyone.
This is really simple, beautiful and extremely worthwhile. Check it out. I have said thank you to men and women of the military while at the airport and the experience is always really meaningful if not a bit uncomfortable for them. I don’t think there’s a social protocol yet for saying ‘thank you’ and this really nails it. I hope this catches on.
